Business Analysis Training
The broad range of principles and techniques within the sphere of Business Analysis are all covered by the ISEB Foundation certificate. The certificate is highly relevant to anyone that is seeking a better understanding of Business Analysis.
The syllabus that would be studied is largely based on the BCS publication Business Analysis, this text comes highly recommended for those preparing to take the examination. On top of the range of principles and techniques covered the qualification counts towards the ISEB Diploma in Systems Development and the ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis.
In each of the subject areas covered by the course you will be taught certificate level qualifications that may be combined into a Diploma. For each module passed by the candidate they will receive a certificate. A unique structure is present in each of the Diploma’s. The relevant Diploma will be awarded to candidates once they have passed written examinations in the specialist and compulsory modules, they must also pass an oral examination specialising in the specific subject area of the Diploma. A Diploma will be awarded to the candidate once they have successfully completed 3 or more core modules, an Oral Examination and a specialist module.

- Business Analysis Essentials
- Organisational Context
- Requirements Engineering
Specialist Modules
Any one of the modules from the list below must be obtained.
- Modelling Business Processes
- Systems Development Essentials
- Systems Modelling Techniques
Oral Examinations
The candidate must obtain the set number of modules for a Diploma in order to be able to sit an oral examination. This examination will test the candidate in different areas including communication ability and their ability to apply knowledge to their own, or to a simulated work environment. Each oral is anticipated to last for a maximum of 45 minutes and it will involve two examiners.
A candidate should attempt to take the oral examination within the first six months of them having completed the set of written exams but not more than twelve months after they have received the result date for their final examination. If the oral examination is not taken by the candidate within twelve months they will be not be able to attend this examination.
