Who is this certification for?

The Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis is designed for senior Business Analysts who possess a range of skills and lengthy experience.

Prerequisites

Delegates must already hold the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, and have five years of experience in the field, with evidence showing their contribution to the Business Analysis community.

Delegates must complete four of the professional certifications in order to acquire this advanced qualification. The professional qualifications are split into three topic sections, Analytical Skills, Business Skills, and People Skills, hence delegates must complete at least one professional certification from each section. For Analytic Skills, delegates can choose from Business Architecture, Advanced Requirements Engineering, Data Analysis, and Agile Business Analysis. Business Skills is comprised of Business Finance and Benefits Planning and Realisation, whilst People Skills covers Stakeholder Engagement and Team Leadership.

The BCS Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis is a demonstrator of expertise, experience, and extensive contribution to the Business Analysis community. This qualification is one of the highest Business Analysis certifications that can be gained, which displays professional proficiencies. It is key that candidates provide evidence of their personal development and commitment to Business Analysis via their active contribution in order to gain this renowned advanced diploma.

BCS Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis Assessment

To gain the Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis, a portfolio review will need to take place (there is no examination). BCS will review the submitted portfolio to determine whether the candidate is eligible for the certification. They will do this by confirming correct the evidence provided by the candidate. The outcome can be decided from the portfolio review individually, however occasionally BCS can contact the applicant to discuss their inquiry in more detail if they feel necessary.
