The History Of Change Management Training

Change management came into being in the 1980s. Ford, GE (General Electric) and AT&T were among its early adopters. All these were very large corporations, signaling the acceptance of change management strategies by huge business empires only. The GE’s Change Acceleration Process (CAP) was one of the earliest change management models that came into being in the field of business. But during the 1990s, significant and enormous changes were witnessed in the field of business. Rapid changes were witnessed specifically in the field of IT. This triggered an expansion in the usage of change management tools not only in different parts of the world but also among different business sectors. With the progression of time, widespread acceptance of change management strategies took place.
