Does the course include exams?
Yes, the course includes the both the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner exams.
Are there any prerequisites for the Change Management examinations?
There are no prerequisites for the Foundation examination, however, candidates must achieve a pass at Foundation level before completing the Practitioner examination.
What is the structure of the exams?
The Foundation exam is multiple choice and the Change Management Practitioner exam is in the "Objective Testing" format, a style of complex multiple-choice examination
What time shall I arrive at the venue?

What is the pre-course reading?
We recommend you familiarise yourself with the Making sense of Change Management manual which is provided in advance of the course
What are the hours of the course?
The training hours are start at 9am and finish at 5pm approximately

The Knowledge Academy Change Management course materials are based on the 2012 edition of, “Making Sense of Change Management” and include an examination based on this manual.
Change Management Foundation Training (including examinations)
The Knowledge Academy Change Management Foundation & Practitioner event is designed to maximise delegates’ potential in the Change Management training environment.
Following confirmation of booking The Knowledge Academy will send the Pre-Course work to the delegate. This work consists of;
1) Reading: Introduction, The underpinning theory, Individual change, “Making Sense of Change Management”
2) Pre-course workbook to be completed by the Delegate and handed to Trainer at the start of course.
The pre-course work on a The Knowledge Academy course will require around 15 hours of study prior to the course start date. The Knowledge Academy Change Management Foundation is an intensive 5 day course that includes the Change Management Foundation & Practitioner within the course. Upon booking, Joining Instructions that describe the course location and other administrative details will also be emailed. In addition, delegates will be required to complete a MINIMUM of 2 hours homework each evening which will be set by the instructor.
Change Management Foundation Exam
A 60 question multiple choice examination with a pass mark of 30 out of 60. Success in this examination indicates that the candidate would be able to act as an informed member of a change management team using the method within a change environment. Please note that success in the Foundation examination is a prerequisite for that candidate to move forward to the Practitioner examination.
Change Management Practitioner Training (including examination)
The Knowledge Academy Change Management Practitioner event is designed to maximise delegates’ potential by building on the Change Management Foundation event.
Following confirmation of booking The Knowledge Academy will send the Pre-Course work to the delegate. This work consists of;

The History Of Change Management Training
Change management came into being in the 1980s. Ford, GE (General Electric) and AT&T were among its early adopters. All these were very large corporations, signaling the acceptance of change management strategies by huge business empires only. The GE’s Change Acceleration Process (CAP) was one of the earliest change management models that came into being in the field of business. But during the 1990s, significant and enormous changes were witnessed in the field of business. Rapid changes were witnessed specifically in the field of IT. This triggered an expansion in the usage of change management tools not only in different parts of the world but also among different business sectors. With the progression of time, widespread acceptance of change management strategies took place.
There has been a considerable increase in the use of change management strategies for the year 2003 to 2011. Accordingly, the market for change management strategies and Change Management Training has grown at a rapid pace during this period. This resulted in an emergence of over 300 organizations offering change management services. Today, in the field of business, the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) exists, which clearly indicates the vitality of the subject.
