In this 1-day Mental Capacity Training course, delegates will learn about Mental Capacity, Mental Capacity Act (MCA), its need, and importance. Delegates will learn core principles of the Mental Capacity Act, lack of capacity, capacity assessment, assessment under different decisions, legal tests under different legislations, helping someone in decision making, etc. Delegates will also learn to make decisions and act in someone's best interests, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA), resolving disputes, advance decisions, etc. They will also learn about sharing sensitive information and protecting vulnerable adults.
