The available primary schools include Battling Brook CP and St Mary’s Church of England. Students then go to either Hinckley Academy or Midland Studio College for the Years 10 and 11. These schools both have a sixth form available. Further education is provided by Warwickshire & Hinckley College. Recently, a new college, Studio College, opened and enrols around 80 students a year. The rate of unemployment in Hinckley is at 6.1%. This is lower than the national average of England which is 7.6%.
