All our APM courses include the relevant exam, which you can take with us on your last day of training. Alternatively, for those who self-study, APM open examinations can be sat at four times throughout the year at special APM events. Once you had passed, learn how to add APM qualifications to your CV.
APM Project Fundamentals Qualification
The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) assesses knowledge of key elements of the project lifecycle, drawing from the APM Body of Knowledge. It is assessed through a one hour multiple-choice examination. There are 60 questions, all of which must be answered. Each is worth one mark.
APM Project Management Qualification
The APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) examination assesses knowledge in all areas of the project management lifecycle, drawing from knowledge areas of the APM Body of Knowledge.
It is a three hour examination which uses a range of different question types. There are 16 questions, from these you must answer 10. Each question is worth 50 marks.
Those who have passed PRINCE2® Practitioner can take a special shorter examination, APM PMQ for PRINCE2 Practitioners. In this, there are 10 questions from which 6 must be answered. The pass mark for either exam is 55%.
