This Management of Risk (M_o_R®) five-day combined Foundation and Practitioner course aims to provide you with an extensive knowledge of the M_o_R® framework, principles, and approaches, in a condensed period of time. This M_o_R® Foundation section of the certification will teach delegates how to identify, assess, and monitor risk with the outcome of reducing or eliminating the impact of risk to benefit their organisation. The M_o_R® Practitioner section of the certification will train the delegates in tailoring the M_o_R® framework to specific scenarios to enable these individuals to apply M_o_R® to their own businesses.
This M_o_R® certification conditions business professionals to make informed decisions within risk management. As a generic framework, M_o_R® can be applied to a multitude of organisations. This 5-day combined M_o_R® Foundation and Practitioner course is designed for any business professional that makes significant decisions within their workplace on a regular basis. It is also focused on individuals who would like to develop their risk management skills and apply these to their organisation.
There are no prerequisites to enrol on this course. However, in order to complete the full course, both the M_o_R® Foundation examination and the M_o_R® Practitioner examination must be passed in order to become certified. Additionally, it is advised that delegates read some chapters from the M_o_R® official manual ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’ prior to the course, this is not compulsory though.
This M_o_R® Foundation Practitioner course has two examinations that must be passed in order to complete the course. The first is the M_o_R® Foundation exam that is at the end of the third day of the course. The second is the M_o_R® Practitioner exam that is at the end of the fifth and final day of the course.

Candidates are allowed to use the ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’, along with the ABC Consulting Ltd. Sample Risk Documents and Worked Examples of some of the Common Techniques, in the examination. No other material can be used to guide the candidate in the examination

Candidates can use the ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’ as well as the ‘ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques’ guidance document to aid their examination. No other material can be used to guide the candidate in the examination
