Management of Risk (M_o_R®) is a generic framework that allows an individual or organisation to identify, assess, and prioritise risks that are associated with decision making. M_o_R® enables the user to look at both positive and negative risks and determine how these risks can be reduced to ensure that the organisations stays within its projected pathway. Accredited by both AXELOS and PeopleCert, our M_o_R® certifications provide our candidates with quality training that produces competent individuals.
As a flexible framework, the M_o_R® route map can be applied to any organisation with the result of accurate risk assessment. Therefore, the generic nature of the methodology means that it can be transferred to any industry with positive results. This makes it beneficial to both the candidate and the organisation as it increases the candidate's ability to effectively assess risk, whilst also increasing the organisations efficiency.
The M_o_R® manual, ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’, is an AXELOS approved guide for candidates who wish to undertake the M_o_R® training courses and it is recommended that you read the chapters of the guide to aid your learning. The manual gives the candidate a basic knowledge of the concepts, language, and the four elements (principles, approach, processes, and embedding and reviewing) included in the M_o_R® methodology. This manual then gives the candidate a foundation on which to build during the course and a way to enhance their learning throughout their training.
With the increase in market complexity, it is ever more crucial to control the risks which organisations are exposed to in everyday scenarios. Furthermore, as organisations are constantly subject to change it would be a risk in itself not to identify issues which could threaten the corporation. Therefore, applying the M_o_R® methodology would be beneficial in the efficiency and profitability of an organisation.
The Knowledge Academy is accredited by AXELOS for the teaching of all M_o_R® certifications.
