M_o_R® Examination and Format

Both the M_o_R® Foundation certification and the M_o_R® Practitioner certification conclude with an examination that must be passed in order to complete the accreditation. If you pass the Foundation examination, you will receive a Foundation certificate. Similarly, if you pass the Practitioner examination, you will receive a Practitioner certificate. However, if you pass the combined Foundation and Practitioner course, you will only receive the Practitioner certificate.

M_o_R® Foundation Exam Format

The M_o_R® Foundation examination is:

• Multiple choice

• 75 questions

• Five ‘trial questions’ that do not count towards the final mark

• 50% pass rate (35/70)

• 60 minutes in duration

• Closed book

M_o_R® Practitioner Exam Format

The M_o_R® Practitioner Upgrade examination is:

• Based on objective testing

• 4 questions of 20 marks each

• 50% pass rate (20/40)

• 3 hours in duration

• Candidates can use the ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’ as well as the ‘ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques’ guidance document. No other material can be used to guide the candidate in the examination

M_o_R® Re-registration Exam Format

The M_o_R® Re-Registration examination is:

• Based on objective testing

• 2 questions of 20 marks each

• 50% pass rate (20/40)

• 90 minutes in duration

• Candidates can use the ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’ as well as the ABC Consulting Ltd. Sample Risk Documents and Worked Examples of some of the Common tEchniques. No other material can be used to guide the candidate in the examination
