ISO 22301 Foundation Course Overview

This ISO 22301 Foundation training consists of a 1-day course that aims to provide delegates with an introduction to the ISO 22301 standard, which enables businesses to continue functioning throughout a critical incident. Throughout the training, course candidates will be given an overview of the methods, requirements, and benefits of using a Business Continuity Management System within their organisation.

ISO 22301 is an international standard that provides a valid and credible framework for business continuity. The standard works to reduce the effects of disruptions from a range of complexities, for example, cyber-attack, theft, IT service issues, fire, and staff absences. Furthermore, the standard is in place to enable organisations to maintain ‘business as usual’ throughout these disruptions.

This ISO 22301 Foundation course is the first of four in the ISO 22301 standard. This Foundation course is followed by ISO 22301 Internal Auditor, 22301 Lead Auditor, and 22301 Lead Implementer. The completion of all four of these certifications will enable delegates to competently control business continuity.
