In this course, delegates will learn about the Amazon Lumberyard Editor. Delegates will learn how to create a lush mountainous landscape, build a maze within it, place a player character, and install a simple UI. Delegates will acquire knowledge of how to export and play the game. In this course, delegates will gain an understanding of the fundamental workflow and tools within Lumberyard.
In this 1-day course, delegates will get an understanding of the Lumberyard Interface. They will learn about the basic tools and how to manipulate objects, move an object, as well as rotate objects. Amazon Lumberyard Training course explains how to configure auto backup and build the environment for Lumberyard. In a building environment, delegates will learn how to create a level, import heightmap, import a megaterrian texture, and how to place player character. In addition, delegates will learn how to create an entity, add mesh component, collider and physics component. They will also learn how to duplicate entities and parenting entities.
During this course, delegates will learn how to create a doorway slice and align the slices. They will also learn how to add enemy AI characters. Delegates will gain an understanding of how to apply physics to stacked crates as well as create a texture layer, painting pavement, Grass, Dirt, and Rocks. Post completion of this training, delegates will be able to change the time of day and create a light source.
