Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for completing this course, therefore it is open to anybody who would like to obtain a knowledge of CHAMPS2®. However, prior to the start of the course candidates must complete some pre-course reading. This includes:

• CHAMPS2® Master Map
• CHAMPS2® White Paper

CHAMPS2® Foundation Course Overview

This 3-day CHAMPS2® Foundation course aims to provide candidates with an introduction to the methodology of CHAMPS2®. The course will also look into the eight phases of CHAMPS2 (0-7), solution evolution, and benefits management. This will give delegates an overview of the basic methodology, purpose, structures, and benefits of CHAMPS2® and a foundational understanding of these aspects. The trainer-led nature of the course will provide candidates with a comprehensive method of learning, including discussions and examples. This will result in an interactive course that will engage delegates and allow them to learn all the necessary information needed to pass the certification exam. This course is accredited by APMG.

Official APMG CHAMPS2® Foundation Examination Information

Work as an informed member of a transformation or project team. To complete this CHAMPS2® Foundation course, candidates must pass an examination. This will take place at the end of the final day of the course.

• Pass Mark: 32 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) - 64%

This CHAMPS2® Practitioner Upgrade certification is designed for individuals in transformation change programmes, who have already achieved the Foundation level and would like to develop their knowledge and skills of CHAMPS2®. Specific individuals who would benefit from this certification include Senior Responsible Owners, Programme Managers, Business Change Managers, and Programme Officers.

Prerequisites

As a prerequisite of this course, candidates must have passed the CHAMPS2® Foundation level examination and gained the associated certificate.

CHAMPS2® Practitioner Course Overview

This 1 day CHAMPS2® Practitioner certification aims to develop the knowledge and skills of individuals who have already completed the CHAMPS2® Foundation course and obtained the fundamental understanding surrounding the methodology. This course then builds on existing knowledge with the intention of teaching delegates how to implement CHAMPS2® in their specific organisation. Throughout the course delegates will learn the practical skills and techniques, along with the relations within the structure of a CHAMPS2® organisation, that will enable them to use the methodology after the course has been completed. This course is accredited by APMG.

Official APMG CHAMPS2 Practitioner Examination Information

Signal your knowledge of the transformation journey and applying the method to real projects. To complete this CHAMPS2® Practitioner Upgrade course, delegates must pass the associated examination. This will take place at the end of this 1-day course and candidates will be expected to have recapped their knowledge of the CHAMPS2® Foundation level course to have all the relevant knowledge to pass this examination.
