VeriSM™ Essentials Training Course Overview

The Knowledge Academy’s VeriSM™ Essentials training covers the basic IT Service Management principles, also delegates will gain an understanding of Service Management culture and organisational structure.  VeriSM™ Essentials will train delegates to integrate the whole organisation rather than just a single department and help bring them into the digital age. Once the VeriSM™ model has been integrated into the organisation this will help them define their service management principles, these principles will be relevant to all products and services. 1. Module: The Service Organisation

  1. Organisational Context – Delegates will learn how to define the key elements of an organisation whilst defining how to optimize organisational interactions
  2. Organisational Governance – Delegates will learn how to define the elements of organisational governance and explain how the governance “flows” through an organisation
  3. Digital Transformation – Delegates will learn how to define the impact of new technologies on organisations and how to describe the impact of digital transformation on service management

2. Module: Service Culture

  1. The Service Culture – Delegates will be able to define a service culture and explain the elements of a service culture

3. Module: People and Organisational Structure

  1. Organisational structure – Delegates will be able to define the differences between a leader and a manager and learn how to explain the competencies of the service management professional. Learn how to list the elements of a well-functioning team.
  2. Service Management Challenges – Delegates will learn how to explain the methods to overcome team challenges and explain the challenges of managing consumers. To be able to describe the elements of communications and explain organisational change principles.

4. Module: The VeriSM™ Model

  1. The VeriSM™ model – Delegates will learn the elements of VeriSM™ model and explain how VeriSM™ re-defines service Management.
  2. Delegates will also learn how to explain how VeriSM™ uses the management mesh to create and stabilize services, wiliest gaining an understanding of the elements within each of the four stages of the VeriSM™ Model
