To attend and get CGEIT certification, you must have 5 or more years of experience relating to IT governance, including 1 year working in the definition, establishment and management of a framework for the Governance of Enterprise IT.

CGEIT (Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT) is designed for IT governance professionals or significant advisory or assurance responsibility. The CGEIT qualification is an internationally recognised symbol of excellence in IT governance awarded by ISACA. CGEIT aims to ensure that the IT infrastructure effectively meets and maintains an organisation's business goals. The beginning of CGEIT is equivalent to developing the importance and relevance of IT governance in more prominent organisations. Holding CGEIT knowledge allows you to excel in your desired career and use upcoming opportunities.
The Knowledge Academy's 2-day CGEIT Training course provides delegates with in-depth knowledge of the IT governance framework. Delegates will gain knowledge starting from the basics and go all the way to effectively implement the IT governance framework in an organisation. They will understand various methods for recording/monitoring IT resources and business-IT alignment. During this interactive training, delegates will learn about various topics such as IT investment management, portfolio management, risk optimisation, etc. This training will be conducted by our professional trainer who has years of experience in teaching IT courses.
This course will cover various topics, such as:
At the end of this training, delegates will be able to identify IT strategies and have a deep understanding of the roles and responsibilities of various focus areas of IT governance. They will also be able to effectively identify, control, monitor, and analyse IT-related business risk in an organisation. If delegates want to upskill their knowledge and skills regarding cybersecurity, they can select our other Cyber Security Training courses, including Cyber Security Awareness, Cyber Security Risk Management, Certified Cyber Security Professional (CCS-PRO) and many more.
This course does not include the CGEIT exam; it must be booked separately through ISACA.
The exam covers knowledge across the five CRISC domains. It consists of 150 questions and lasts 4 hours.
