A Blockchain is a digital ledger of transactions that are secured using cryptography and signed digitally to ensure their authenticity and integrity. Each block contains transaction data plus a link to the previous block. Together the blocks form a chain of records which are validated by a network of computers rather than a single user.
This Blockchain Training course aims to provide knowledge of the structure and mechanisms of Blockchain. Delegates will learn of the significance of consensus in transactions on the Blockchain and how these transactions are stored. In addition, the Ethereum development platform will be discussed, including how to set up a personal blockchain environment using Ethereum.
