Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Course Overview

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification is the entry-level qualification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. Designed for project managers or project management students with little experience, it is the ideal foundation qualification for individuals looking to initiate a career in project management or demonstrate their knowledge of project management to an employer when in a contributory role.

This 3-day course covers all topic areas required to pass the CAPM® exam. It covers the knowledge areas and process groups contained in the latest "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK® Guide) as well as related concepts, tools, and techniques.

As an excellent starting training course for aspiring Project Managers, this CAPM® course educates candidates on how to utilise the PMBOK® Guide and what the best practice project management methodology is too. The syllabus covers a wide breadth of topics, from the essential processes required to monitor and control a project through to the wider context in which the project is being managed. 

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Details

The CAPM® exam must be booked and taken externally through the Project Management Institute (PMI)® website. The exam is based on the chapters of the "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)". The exam consists of:

• 135 Marked Questions
• 15 Pre-test Questions
• 3 Hours

All we require is for you to sit the exam within 30 days of completing the class, attend all class days and complete all class assignments, including your CAPM® practice exams. CAPM® examination results must be verified to confirm re-enrolment and are subject to availability.
