Amazon FSx Training Course Overview
Amazon FSx for Window file server provides fully managed Microsoft Window file server supported by a fully native Windows file system. It has the features, compatibility, and performance to lift and shift the enterprise application to AWS easily. It also supports a wide set of enterprise windows workloads with fully managed file storage built on Microsoft Windows Server. To access file storage, it has native support for industry-standard server message block protocol and window file system features. It optimised for enterprise performance and features, and consistent sub-millisecond latencies.
In this course, delegates will learn how to map file share to an EC2 instance running window server. They will gain an understanding of how to manage file share, user session and open files. Amazon file server enables you to migrate the existing file datasets fully into your Amazon FSx file systems. In addition, delegates will learn how to protect data with shadow copies and backups. Delegates will gain a comprehensive knowledge of how to deploy multi-AZ file systems. Post completion of this training, delegates will be able to monitor the file system as well as they will get an understanding of file system access control with Amazon VPC.
