How to add the PMP® Credential to your LinkedIn

  1. Login to your LinkedIn Account

  2. Click on the top Menu

  3. Click Me, then View Profile, then Scroll down to Accomplishments

  4. Click Add/Plus Sign

  5. Click Certification

  6. Add “Project Management Professional” to the Certification Name. If you are re-registering you should also use the phrase “Registered PMP® credential holder”.

  7. Certification Authority - Select “Project Management Institute”.

  8. License Number - fill your number in with the information from your certificate

  9. Certification URL - link to the Course URL - https://www.theknowledgeacademy.com/courses/pmp-training/pmp-certification-training/

  10. Dates - Select the date that you qualified and untick the “this certificate does not expire” box - apply an expiry date of 3 years to the project management certificate.

You are also permitted to add the abbreviation to your Last Name field on LinkedIn as a suffix - this can be achieved through editing your profile name.
