The course is intended for anybody involved in or looking to be involved in a programme management role. This includes programme managers and staff, project management office (PMO) managers, and staff involved in change at the strategic level.
There are no prerequisites, but some experience of working on projects using Agile would be a bonus.
Agile Programme Management (AgilePgM®) provides comprehensive best practice guidance on how to manage organisational change using Agile practices.
Project management has evolved over the last few years, and appetite for Agile has grown greater as businesses have realised its advantages over the traditional way of running things. There is no reason, however, why Agile techniques couldn’t also be used for programme management. Thus, APMG’s Agile Programme Management certification was born.
Developed in partnership with Agile Business Consortium, creators of the original DSDM/Agile Project Framework, the Agile PgM Foundation certification provides best practice guidance on how to manage groups of projects in an Agile way.
This 3-day course provides a full grounding in the method and includes an exam to certify knowledge and enable you to receive your certification.
We recommend Agile Programme Management Handbook manual (ISBN No: 978-0992872717) prior to the course to accompany your learning. But it is not included in course fees.
