The city of Fairfax is located in the state of Virginia in the Fairfax County. The city of Fairfax is approximately 16 miles south-west of Washington D.C. Fair fax also has its own international school - Virginia International University, which offers programs in computer science, business management, international relations, public administration and education. The international university also has courses to teach English to speakers of other languages.
