The AgilePM® Foundation Training Course does not have any prerequisites and is suitable for anybody in, or who has an interest in, project management, from project management students all the way to Executives and Senior Managers. This course can benefit anybody looking to implement an Agile methodology into their projects.
This certification is designed for those who already hold an AgilePM® Foundation Certification or the acceptable substitutes. If you fulfil the prerequisites and would like to build on your existing Agile foundations and take a proactive role in implementing an Agile methodology into your project, then this is course for you.
It is recommended to spend 3-5 hours on pre-course work material prior to the course. The Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner Course last 4 days. There will also be homework assigned during the course.
There are several routes available to you once you have gained the AgilePM® Practitioner certification. If you wish to learn about a more traditional project management approach which can be used to work alongside AgilePM®, you could gain a PRINCE2® certification. If you are familiar with PRINCE2® already and would like to understand how it can work with Agile, you could look at the PRINCE2 Agile® certification. Alternatively, if you would like to explore Agile more, the Scrum certification provides a framework for using Agile practices in a less traditional, less rigid way.
There are no specific prerequisites for the Foundation level of this Agile Project Management Course. It is open to anyone interested in learning Agile Project Management methodologies. For the Practitioner level, it is typically required to have already obtained the Agile Project Management Foundation Certification.
