PMP® shows the education, experience, skill, and competency required to manage and direct projects. Project Management Professional (PMP)® is very much in demand certification provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Project Management Institute certification and certifications are identified by their global application and development, which makes them portable over industries and geographic borders. The PMP certification explains to clients, employers, and colleagues that a project manager should have project management experience, understanding and skills to take projects towards the successful completion.

In this 4 Days Project Management Professional (PMP)® course, delegates will become familiar with ways to attack issues or problems with optimal actions to achieve project success. This training will provide knowledge about various strategies to plan and manage procurement. Delegates will also get to know about project methodology and practices for effectively and efficiently managing projects. This course will be taught by our expert trainers who have years of experience in teaching such courses.

PMP® Exam Prep Boot Camp Course Prerequisites

No prior certifications are required, but delegates will thrive if they possess experience or knowledge of:

PMP® Exam Prerequisites

To apply for the exam, The Project Management Institute (PMI)® requires that you have either:

  • A four-year degree (Bachelor’s or Global degree), 4,500 hours leading or directing projects, and 35 hours of project management education
  • A Secondary Degree (High school diploma or equivalent), 7,500 hours leading or directing projects, and 35 hours of project management education

Please note, this course provides you with 37.5 hours of project management education, therefore fills the last criterion for the two prerequisite options.

Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Information

The exam is provided by The Project Management Institute (PMI)® which must be arranged after you have completed the required 35 contact hours. Exam is not included with the course fee and will need to be purchased separately.

  • 200 MCQs. 175 are scored questions and 25 are unscored, pre-test questions (these do not get counted towards your final score)
  • 4 hours to complete the exam with no scheduled breaks
  • The exam is in English however if you require additional language aids, they are provided in 14 other languages at no extra cost
  • A calculator is provided (you may not bring your own)

The exam covers 3 key areas in Project Management. The percentages detail what percentage of the questions are covered in each area:

  1. People (42%)
  2. Process (50%)
  3. Business Environment (8%)

Total – 100%

The pass mark is not set. It is dependent on how you answer questions that are of varying levels of difficulty. Please do not confuse the pass mark with being 61%; it was previously 61% but is no longer a set percentage.

From the date you pass your exam, you have three years to earn 60 PDUs. Every subsequent three years also requires a further 60 PDUs. One Professional Development Unit is equivalent to one hour of learning or activity in Project management. You can achieve your 60 PDUs with further education, organising meetings, watching videos, participation in online or digital media.
