The biggest university in Calgary is the ‘University of Calgary’ which enrols around 30,000 students. It offers a wide variety of degrees, diplomas and certificates. Also in Calgary are Mount Royal University, SAI Polytechnic and Athabasca University, which provides distance education programs for students. There are a number of private universities as well, including Reeves College and Columbia College.
