Enterprise Integration Practitioner Course Overview

Enterprise Integration Practitioner is an intensive 4-day course that combines our Enterprise Integration Fundamentals and Advanced courses into a single curriculum aimed at getting you from novice to practitioner in a week.

It starts off by explaining what Integration is and why it is so important to the functioning of any modern organisation. From there it moves on to the different approaches to integration over time and what is now regarded as best practice. A comprehensive overview of all the areas of an Integration capability is provided, from its delivery lifecycle and associated roles and responsibilities to a reference architecture for all the required functions.

The second day of the course is focused on providing a more in-depth understanding of the different technologies and technical standards involved and the considerations in selecting, deploying, and using them.

The final day looks at how to perform integration analysis to translate business requirements into integration requirements and specific techniques for identifying areas of re-use. From there it moves on to design & architecture and the various methods used to build future-proof solutions. The course concludes with a look at what it takes to successfully manage and govern Integration initiatives.
