This MoR® Foundation Practitioner course has two examinations that must be passed in order to complete the course.

MoR® Foundation Examination

In order to gain MoR® Foundation certification, delegates must pass the MoR® Foundation exam. The exam follows this format:

  • Multiple choice examination questions
  • 75 questions per paper
  • Five questions are ‘trial questions’ and not counted in scores
  • 35 marks required to pass (out of 70 available) - 50%
  • 60 minutes’ duration
  • Closed book.

The MoR® Practitioner exam is:

  • Based on objective testing
  • 4 questions of 20 marks each
  • 50% pass mark (20/40)
  • 3 hours in duration
  • Candidates can use the ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’ as well as the ‘ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques’ guidance document to aid their examinationn. No other material can be used during the examination

MoR® Practitioner Examination

The MoR® Practitioner Upgrade examination is:

  • Based on objective testing
  • 4 questions of 20 marks each
  • 50% pass mark (20/40)
  • 3 hours in duration
  • Candidates can use the ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’ as well as the ‘ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques’ guidance document to aid their examination. No other material can be used to guide the candidate in the examination

There are no prerequisites for completing the M_o_R® Foundation certification. However, as a prerequisite of the M_o_R® Practitioner certification, the Foundation course must have been completed.
Yes, there is a minimum of 2 hours reading each evening in addition to the course.
The M_o_R® Foundation is an indefinite accreditation meaning that it will not become invalid. However, the M_o_R® Practitioner certification must be re-registered every 3-5 years, by completing the Re-Registration examination, in order to keep the qualification up to date.
Yes, the skills ascertained during the M_o_R® qualifications can be used in any industry or organisation. The skills can also be transferred to other training courses, including project management, allowing you to further increase your prospects through other training.
