CCSP can be found in any industry which uses cloud computing. The increasing adoption of the cloud worldwide necessitates the need for strong cloud computing security and experienced cloud and security professionals. As it is vendor-neutral, CCSP does not align itself to any particular industry or way of working.
When looking for a cloud security job, you essentially have two options: either join a direct cloud provider, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, or join a company which uses the cloud extensively for its business. The cloud is used everywhere, but industries particularly benefiting from it marketing, finance, healthcare, and retail.
Cloud services are extremely popular, with usage being expected to continue to grow greatly. LogicMonitor’s Cloud Vision 2020: The Future of the Cloud Study predicts that 83% of enterprise workloads will be in the cloud by 2020. Furthermore, the survey reports that 66% of IT professionals say security is their greatest concern in adopting an enterprise cloud computing strategy, meaning there will be vast demand for cloud security experts in the future.
