P3O Exams

P3O® Exam Structures

The examinations assume different formats, depending on the level of the P3O® certification:

P3O® Foundation Exam - tests knowledge and understanding of P3O®

• 75-question multiple choice exam

• 5 practice questions that are not included within the results

• 70 questions that contribute to the achievement of the certification

• 1 hour

• Closed book

• 50% pass mark required for certification (35/70 marks)

P3O® Practitioner Exam - tests the ability to design, implement, maintain or work in a P3O® office

• Four 20-mark questions

• Objective testing and a form of a multiple choice exam

• 150 minutes

• Open Book - the P3O® guide is permitted within the exam

• 55% pass mark required for certification (44/80 marks)

P3O® Re-registration Exam

• Two scenario-based questions

• Each question answer is marked out of 20

• 30 minutes

• Open Book - the P3O® guide is permitted within the exam

• 50% pass mark required for certification (20/40 marks)
