Nashville is the capital of the state of Tennessee. It is the second largest city in the state after Memphis. Nashville has an estimated population of around 660,000 people. It is ranked 216th in the world university rankings. One notable alumni from the Vanderbilt University is Al Gore, the former US Vice President.
