Prerequisites

CBAP® is an experience-based professional certification. It requires the following professional work experience:

  • A minimum of 7500 hours in the last 10 years
  • Within these work experience hours, a minimum of 900 hours must cover 4 of the 6 BABOK® Guide knowledge areas
  • In addition to this, it requires:
  • A minimum of 35 hours of professional development in the last 4 years
  • Two references from either a career manager, client (internal or external) or CBAP® recipient

This 2-day course prepares candidates for the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ exam to achieve CBAP® certification. Over the 2 days of training, your instructor will walk you through the knowledge areas covered by the exam and ensure you have a full understanding of what each area involves.

CBAP® is the third level of Business Analysis certification offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®).
