San Jose is in the heart of the Silicon Valley with Guadalupe River running through the north; it is also considered to be a global city with a population of just over 1 million. It is well known for its high tech industry and high cost of living. As it is near San Francisco, San Jose also suffers with at least one earthquake a year on average.
Some of the more famous places in San Jose include; Winchester Mystery House, the Tech Museum of Innovation, Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph and the Municipal Rose Garden. San Jose also happens to be the home of the headquarters for companies such as; Adobe, Ebay and Paypal.
San Jose University is located in the downtown San Jose offers over 130 different bachelors and masters degree programs. There are a number of other university campus’ in San Jose including; California University of Management and Technology, the National University, Golden Gate University, Lincoln Law School of San Jose and University of Silicon Valley Law School.
