Durban is the second populated metropolitan area in South Africa, with around 590,000 inhabitants. The city has the busiest port in South Africa, and has the second most important manufacturing industry. Durban is located on the Indian Ocean coast of the continent. The city is very ethnically diverse with the largest ethnic group being the Zulus.
