Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe with a population of around 653,400 people. The city of Bulawayo is also known as the ‘City of Kings’, ‘Skies’, ‘Bluez’, ‘Bulliesberg’ or ‘KoNtuthu ziyathunqa’. The city is a large industrial city. The Solusi University is a coeducational private university which was established 1894 and have around 5000 students in attendance. The university follows American grading and business regulations and is owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The university offers courses in agriculture, mathematics, environmental sciences, family & consumer science, theology, religious studies, fine arts, humanities and language & communication.
