Harare is the capital of Zimbabwe and is situated in the North East of the country. The population of the city is around 1.6 million people and the urban area has a population of around 1.6 million also. The University of Zimbabwe is the oldest and formerly largest university in University in Zimbabwe which was established in 1952. The university has around 11,700 students in attendance and offers courses in areas such as agriculture, art, health sciences, commerce, education, engineering, law, science, social studies and veterinary science. The university was founded through a strong relationship with the University of London and offers international studies.
