It acts as an entry point for many travellers entering San Marino from Italy, and its name translates as ‘Customs House’. Dogana has a population of approximately 7,000 people. Created in 1985, the University is organised into three departments, the Depaartment of Economics, Sciences and Law, the Department of Human Sciences, and the Department of History and of Sanmarinese Culture and History.
