Karachi is the largest and most populous city in Pakistan and the national capital of the country. It is the 2nd largest city in the world by population with an estimated 24 million residents. The University of Karachi, known as KU, is Pakistan's largest university. It has 24,000 pupils enrolled at the school studying at one of the nine faculties. These include social sciences, education, engineering, law and Islamic studies.
