Amazon S3 Glacier Training Course Overview

Amazon S3 Glacier is a vault as a container that stores archives and a compartment to manage records and document which can be an object such as photo, video, or records that store in a vault. An archive is the base unit of storage in the glacier. AWS Glacier is a storage service providing durable storage with security features for data archiving and backup. In this Amazon Storage service, delegates will create a vault to store the documents. For archive management, Amazon S3 Glacier uses the section of AWS Software Development Kits (SDKs) for Java and .NET high-level API. Whilst working with Glacier, the high-level API provides a simplified programming experience.

This 1-day course will start teaching from Amazon S3 Glacier like storage overview and its working. Delegates will learn about data models supported operations in a glacier, working with vaults and archives as well as how to upload and download records. The AWS SDKs is also included in this course to get a complete understanding of the low level and high-level APIs.

During this course, delegates will also learn about security in Amazon S3 Glacier how it works and strategies, tagging resources, security policies. Delegates will gather knowledge of audit logging with AWS CloudTrail and will get a complete understanding of AWS storage service. Post completion of this training, delegates will be able to manage the archives in the container of AWS S3 Glacier and do all operations of this AWS services programmatically.

Christchurch has a number of Universities and Institutes located in or around the city. The University of Canterbury is New Zealand’s second oldest University. The University was founded in 1873 and became the second institution in New Zealand to offer tertiary level education. The University of Canterbury offers degrees in various departments such as, Social Work, Fine Arts, Education and Sports Coaching. The University currently has around 14,900 students in attendance, with 10,000 undergraduates and 2000 post graduates. Another institute located in Christchurch is the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology which provides students with full and part time education in technologies and trade. Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology is the largest institute on the island to offer Applied Sciences. The University has around 25,000 full and part time students in attendance. The University offers degrees in departments such as: Music Arts, Nursing, Applied Science and Information Technology. The University Of Otago Christchurch School Of Medicine is also located in Christchurch and is one of three schools that make up the University of Otago and is primarily based at Christchurch Hospital. The University of Otago Christchurch School Of Medicine was established in 1924 and became a clinical school in 1973. The school is linked with the University Of Otago Dunedin School Of Medicine, where students can choose to study their final year there.
