Vaduz is the capital city of Liechtenstein. It is estimated to have a population of around 5,000 people. Although it is the capital it is not the largest city in the country that honour belongs to Schaan. The unemployment rate in Liechtenstein is currently at around 2.4 percent. This is a reduction on the rate from 2013 when it was 2.5. The current rate is not far from the country’s record low of 2.3 percent. There are currently 4 higher education institutes in Liechtenstein namely the University of Liechtenstein, Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein, Liechtenstein Institute and International Academy of Philosophy. Vaduz is the home to the University of Liechtenstein. It focuses on two main fields of study. These are architecture and business economics. There are around 1200 pupils and 200 staff members.
