It was founded in 1962 and is considered the number one in Jordon. It enrols around 37,000 students a year. The national language of Jordon is Arabic. Most residents however speak English. The most popular languages after English is French and German. The unemployment rate in Jordan stands at 12.9%. The unemployment rate in Amman is around the same at a rate of around 12%.
