Cork is a city in Ireland. It is located in the province of Munster as well as in the South-West Region of Ireland. Cork is also home to Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) which was established in 1974 and teaches over 17,000 students. It specialises in Business, Computing and IT, Humanities and Engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, and chemical); in 2007 and 2010 it was named "Institute of Technology of the Year".
