Dublin Institute of Technology was founded in 1887 and became an independent degree-awarding institution in 1992. It is the largest higher education institutions in Ireland with over 22,000 students attending and undertaking courses in Architecture, Construction, Digital Media, Engineering, Hospitality, Journalism, Marketing, Music, Optometry, Pharmaceuticals, and Science.
