This is an all-time high for the country. There are currently two universities in Guinea. The newest of the universities is Kofi Annan University that opened in 1996 in the city of Conakry. The university is named after the former secretary general of the United Nations. The university offers degrees and masters qualifications in subjects ranging from art and humanities to medicine and health.
