Banjul, also known as the City of Banjul, is the capital city of Gambia. It has a population of 357,200 people. Banjul is home to the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital campus of the University of the Gambia. An active hospital since it was built in 1853, it began accepting students in 2002.
