Accra is the capital city of Ghana and is the biggest city in the country. It has an estimated population of 2.2 million people. The official language of Ghana is English. The unemployment rate in Ghana decreased between 2012 and 2013 form 5.9 percent to 5.2 percent. This is a record low for the country. The original emphasis was on liberal arts and science but this has since been revised to include more technological subjects.
