Accra is the capital city of Ghana and is the biggest city in the country. It has an estimated population of 2.2 million people. The official language of Ghana is English. The unemployment rate in Ghana decreased between 2012 and 2013 form 5.9 percent to 5.2 percent. This is a record low for the country. This is the oldest university in the country as well as being the largest with 40,000 pupils enrolled here. The original emphasis was on liberal arts and science but this has since been revised to include more technological subjects.
