Limassol is a city located in the south east if Cyprus. It is the capital of the Eponymous District. Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus and has a population of around 101,000. Limassol is home to the Cyprus University of Technology and was established in 2004. The university offers 6 faculties which are; Geotechnical Sciences, Environmental Management and Economics, Communication and Media studies, Health Sciences, Fine and Applied Arts, Engineering and Technology and Language. Another university is the Frederick University which is a private university. The school was established in 1965 and offers research and teaching in areas such as science, technology, letters and the arts.
