Geneva is a financial city and worldwide centre for diplomacy and houses the United Nations. The University of Geneva is a public research facility which was established in 1559. The university is the second largest university in Switzerland with around 15,000 students. Students can study a variety of courses such as; economics, management, sciences, medicine, arts, law, theology, education, psychology, translation, interpretation and social sciences.
