Belize City is the biggest city in Belize and was formerly the capital of the former Honduras. Belize City has around 60,000 inhabitants and is the main port and financial and industrial hub. St John’s College in Belize City is a Roman Catholic School in Jesuit tradition and was founded in 1887. The institute offers courses in liberal arts and science courses at secondary level, British A-Level and United States junior college levels. The institute is one of the oldest, largest and most diverse educational institutes in Belize and caters to around 2600 students.
