Yerevan is the largest and capital city of Armenia. It can be located along the Hrazdan River and is inhabited with approximately over 1 million residents. Yerevan is home to Yerevan State University (YSU); it was created in 1919 and is the oldest university in the city; it now teaches over 9,000 students.
