Dubai is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates with an estimated population of around 2.1 million people. Dubai is one of only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature. These universities offer courses in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture and Interior Design. The American University in Dubai is the only university outside the United States and Latin America to be directly accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
