Satellite Communication Training Course Overview
Satellites are specifically made for telecommunication. Satellites can be used for mobile applications such as communication to planes, vehicles, ships, hand-held terminals and radio and TV broadcasting. Satellites provide these services to an assigned area on the Earth. This Satellite Communication Training course is designed to provide knowledge of the fundamentals of satellite systems.
The Knowledge Academy’s Satellite Communication Training, delegates will learn about satellite network architectures and microwave link engineering. Delegates will get an understanding of how noise and interference affect a microwave link. In addition, they will get familiarised with the concepts of spacecraft and repeater such as communications spacecraft, analog bent-pipe, and digital processing repeaters.
During this 1-day training course, delegates will acquire knowledge of modulators, demodulators, and modems. Delegates will also learn about GEO and non-GEO satellite control, standard GEO transponder services, and payload configuration management. Post completion of this training course, delegates will get knowledge of how to optimise the space and ground segments.
